Voltaire Institute and Museum
Voltaire said of this estate, called "Les Délices", which he owned from 1755 until 1765 : "It is the palace of a philosopher with the gardens of Epicurus."
Since 1954, this mansion has housed an important documentation and research centre. The library contains 25,000 volumes consecrated to Voltaire and the 18th century. A temporary exhibition may also be seen.
